Uniform

The school does not have an official uniform. However, a school sweatshirt is available from the school office for those who wish to purchase one. As children’s days are active and varied, please ensure they wear clothing suitable for these activities. For infant children, simple, easy-to-change clothes are recommended.

PE & Kit

*Children should come to school dressed for PE*

Rec/Y1/Y2

PE sessions take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Children should bring suitable footwear and a bag of clothes to change into, including shorts or bottoms and a t-shirt of any style or colour. This bag can remain on their coat peg for the duration of the half term. Please note that Crocs are not suitable for PE.

Years 3–6

Regular PE takes place on Tuesday afternoons. Children must wear black or navy shorts, leggings, or bottoms, and a school-branded top or a plain purple t-shirt.

An additional fitness activity will take place most Friday afternoons – suitable footwear required - PE kit not required.

From time to time, we will have a visiting sports coach working with the children. These sessions are usually on a Tuesday, but if they are arranged for a different day, we’ll let you know in advance, so children can come in wearing the correct PE kit.  We really appreciate your support in helping us keep everyone in the right kit. This means that when we take part in cluster events, our children look smart, feel part of the team, and can be easily spotted in their matching colours. If a child forgets their kit, we’ll give you a quick call so it can be brought in.

Sports Days

We ask that all pupils wear branded PE tops for sports days.

EARRINGS MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE COMING TO SCHOOL ON A PE DAY – including Fridays for KS2

Children will not be allowed to take part in PE if they are wearing earrings, unless they can remove them themselves. Please ensure your child knows how to remove their earrings before coming to school. We will provide an envelope to keep them safe during lessons.

We strongly recommend that any new piercings are done at the start of the summer holidays. Please note that we are no longer allowed to tape earrings, and any child wearing earrings during PE will have to sit out.
