Interest Club & Extended Childcare

We anticipate that most clubs will have a half-termly theme, however if there is anything out of the ordinary or specific each week, we will let you know on Class DOJO.

Booking slots on SCOPAY open until 11am on the day of the club. This will enable any last-minute bookings or changes to be made by parents.

In the event that you need to book on after 11am, we will be setting up a DOJO ‘class’ for Interest Club and Extended Childcare Club that the staff will monitor. If the booking has closed and you still want to book in, please do that via DOJO. Please remember that this is for exceptional circumstances only. Ideally, children should be booked in before 11am as this gives us time to ensure sufficient resources and staffing. If your child uses a bus or Taxi, it is ESSENTIAL that you receive a REPLY on DOJO to acknowledge receipt so that you child is not placed on the taxi or bus.

  • Charges
  • Interest Club                                       £4 per session (3:15-4:15pm)
  • Extended Childcare                            £9 per session (3:15-5:00pm, including Interest Club)

We understand that sometimes people get delayed and will be late picking up. If this happens more than once or twice, you will be charged for late pick-ups. The occasional 5min approx. is understandable, once in a while, but regular or later pick-ups will be charged as Extended Childcare. Late pick-ups after Extended Childcare (5:00pm) will incur an additional charge of £5. Late pick-ups require us to pay staff for additional time. Additional charges will be added to SCOPAY.

Good news! We are now able to accept childcare vouchers.  This means you can pay for your childcare straight from your salary before tax, which could save you some money.  Please speak with the school office to register your interest.

To get started, please speak to your employer to set up the vouchers, then let the school office know so we can register and redeem them for you.

Cancellation Policy

If your child will not be attending a club—for example, due to illness or a change in parents’ working commitments—it is the parent’s responsibility to make any changes via SCOPAY before the 11am deadline. This includes cancelling or rearranging bookings. The school will not cancel bookings for children who are absent for any reason.

The school will only amend bookings in exceptional circumstances, such as staff illness or an emergency closure, which we aim to keep to a minimum.

We are delighted with how the Interest Clubs have started, with sports clubs in particular being very popular. We will continue to review our offer and welcome feedback on activities your child would like to see. Thank you for your support.
