Dear Parent/Carer,

I hope that our website and prospectus give you a glimpse of all that Lorton School has to offer. However, to truly experience the school, I warmly encourage you to arrange a visit and see firsthand what makes it such a wonderful and exciting place.

From the moment you step into our entrance hall, the family ethos at Lorton is clear. This nurturing approach ensures that children feel happy, safe, and secure — a strong foundation that allows them to learn, thrive, and make excellent progress.

I am proud that children settle easily into life at Lorton and quickly become part of our whole-school family. Over their seven years here, I enjoy watching each child flourish, discovering their strengths and growing in confidence. By the time they move on to secondary school, they are well-rounded, self-assured, and equipped with strong academic achievements to be proud of.

I work closely with Mrs Laker, Executive Headteacher, to ensure that all our children enjoy memorable learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. These experiences form part of our bespoke curriculum and extra-curricular programme, helping children build positive relationships with both peers and adults.
