Drawn to the Lakes

Take a look at the slideshow below to explore a very special exhibition of original art, organised by the pupils of Lorton School. You can also visit Wordsworth House in Cockermouth to see the exhibition which is open until 15th December 2018.

The children asked local artists and well-known people, from world-record-holding triple jumper Jonathan Edwards to England rugby player Abbie Scott, to capture on paper just what the Lakes means to them. The children also produced their own artworks. All the exhibits are for sale – and you get to choose the price you are prepared pay! All proceeds will go to purchasing outdoor learning equipment for the school.

Only successful bidders will be contacted following the end of the exhibition on Saturday 15th December. Once payment has been received, you can collect your artwork from Wordsworth House, or you can pay cash when you collect.
